Reflection on Amal Totkay

Amal Totkays are the basic things to follow in this society. I learned this useful and mindful Totkay during my Amal Fellowship. These will give you a chance to improve your lifestyle and mindset.

Mindset:

The conversation we do with ourselves is the true reflection of our mindset. ‘Mindset is a set of notions, assumptions, and methods that everyone follows either individually or in a group.’

In mindset, Carol writes

If you have only a certain amount of intelligence, a certain personality, and a certain moral character — well, then you’d better prove that you have a healthy dose of them. It simply wouldn’t do to look or feel deficient in these most basic characteristics.

The mindset has 2 types one is a ‘growth mindset’ while the other is a ‘Fixed mindset’.

Growth Mindset is the mind that anyone is adopting new things from time to time and changes himself according to the environment. It tells about the people that think that they can develop their abilities by experiences, dedication towards work, gain, or failure from a project. this type of learning will give you satisfaction and peace of mind.

In the Fixed Mindset, people believe that they have fixed qualities and traits that can’t be changed. they think that talent is the only thing that leads to success instead of doing efforts.

Take away

I think getting out of your comfort zone will lead you to become a successful person. You have to put yourself in a challenging situation and find how to tackle it. By believing in yourself you continue asking yourself what can you do and do it yourself for a Successful leader.

Favorite Tips

Tips that I love the most is:

  1. You must have to say your mind whatever the situation is, ‘You can do it’.
  2. You have all the abilities and potential that others don’t.
  3. Change your mind by doing some positive exercises.
  4. Do Some Good deeds without thinking of returning the award.
  5. one of The Most favorite Tips is ‘fake it till you make it’. In this way, I will learn how much confidence and competence I gained in this era.

Started implementing Already

I have started implementing a ‘Growth mindset’ tip because I realized that the fixed mindset gives you nothing but worries. It decreased my self-knowledge and self-awareness. It became me weak physically and mentally.

What to do to develop a growth mindset

Developing a growth mindset we must do:

  1. Try different tactics to gain better results.
  2. value the idea
  3. Take challenges as new opportunities
  4. Cultivate sense of purpose
  5. Acknowledge and embrace imperfection.
